240th Army Birthday Events
U.S. Army Japan and I Corps (Forward) and U.S. Army Garrison Japan celebrated the 240th Army Birthday June 11 with a 3K Fun Run/Walk and a baseball game, Officers verses Noncommissioned Officers, at the Camp Zama baseball field.
Arnn students celebrate diversity

USAG Japan commemorates Vietnam veterans after 50 years
CAMP ZAMA, Japan (May 14, 2015) -- "Service, Valor and Sacrifice," are words that symbolize the virtues demonstrated by veterans during the Vietnam War; they are the words that encompass the 50th anniversary Vietnam War Commemoration flag uncased during the commemoration ceremony held May 12 at the Camp Zama Community Activity Center.
Arnn students showcase their projects at annual science fair
CAMP ZAMA, Japan (April 24, 2015) -- Students from Arnn Elementary School presented their science projects and inventions to Soldiers from the 78th Signal Battalion during the school's annual science fair April 17 held inside the school's gymnasium.
Kodomo no Matsuri
To celebrate and honor Month of the Military Child the Sagamihara Family Housing Area Child Development Center held a mini Cherry Blossom Festival April 16 and the annual Kodomo no Matsuri (Children’s Festival) was held April 18 at Dewy Park, with games, food and entertainment for Camp Zama’s youth members. CAMP ZAMA, Japan (April 1, 2015) -- “Science, Technology, Engineering and Math can be really fun,” stated Madelyn Curriera, a 5th-grader from Arnn Elementary School, during the “STEMposium” event held March 26 at the school, on the Sagamihara Family Housing Area installation.
