A reality of military life is the mobilization and relocation of its members and their families. Moving to a new location can be very stressful. The packing, handling and shipping of one's personal belongings to a new location can be the greatest concern for the member. The Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) has responded to this concern with the development of the new "Families First" DOD's Personal Property Program.
